2. Colorado State Capitol

The Colorado State Capitol is one of the most impressive buildings in the Denver area. You can see beautiful murals, visit the Colorado General Assembly, or stand on the step that marks exactly one mile above sea level.

3. Dinosaur Ridge

This park near Morrison allows you to see bones from famous dinosaurs, including the stegosaurus and the apatosaurus, as well as dinosaur foot prints. If you take a self-guided tour you’ll get an enjoyable free experience.

4. Cache la Poudre-North Park Byway
